Unlike many other vest and sleeve style suits on the market, the Semi-Comp vest folds nicely through the chest and shoulder area creating a nice pocket for the dog to bite. Allows for a full-on, frontal attack.-

The Semi-Comp is tailored more closely through the shoulder and armpit to help you direct the dog where you want him to engage, creating a full grip that simulates an actual attack on a non-suited person. And all buckles are hidden/sewn down so the suit won't damage your dog's teeth.

Enhanced design in the arms

The arms on the Semi-Comp are a bit longer on the bottom of the armpit area, giving great leeway that allows you to raise your arms without raising the suit body itself. Don't let the suit creeping up get in the way of redirecting the dog.

The back of the shoulder/armpit areas offers excellent biting surfaces from the bicep through the chest. We have added extra padding in the bicep, triceps, and chest area for better simulation of 'pain compliance' bite areas.

Added padding and full mobility in pants

The front of the pants has an added bib that protects your torso when you raise your arms, so you can yell, taunt, or use props without exposing your mid-drift. The legs on the Semi-Comp are tailored for a snugger fit, eliminating unwanted bulk, but with extra padding added to absorb leg bites while running/engaging.

Reproduce a real situation

This is a scenario-based suit. We built it without any extra folds or bulky padding often found in other suits. It's not for the faint of heart. We've made no room for errors; we're not using it to cushion the dog's bite, we're recreating an attack scenario with more opportunities for the decoy to exert physical pressure.

The Berry Compliant Lite Training Suit is crafted as a one-piece-construction. No more vulnerable points where the jacket meets the pants, no more riding up, or loose material at the end of the jacket to allow for a "tug" rather than a bite.

Special attention has been given to the armpit and upper arm areas of this suit to provide world-class protection and increase the bite surface, especially where the arm meets the chest. This suit creates good pockets without being overly “chewy” for the dog.

High-back and chest bites can be taken with confidence across the surface areas. And its unique design hides closures and gussets, preventing tooth damage to your dog, so he can continue to drive into the decoy harder without tripping up.

Busy facilities that rotate their decoys will appreciate how fast this suit comes on and off. It has quick-release closures, snaps, and a wider leg design. We make the Ultra Kimono without a zipper, and the zipper option allows you to keep your shoes on while putting the bite suit pants on or taking off. And conveniently, the whole bite suit is machine washable, so you can do daily or weekly refreshes depending on your needs.

Lowest-profile design; ‘sporty’

Like our Ultra Kimono bite suit, the Lite version suit is a more user-friendly design. Often used for advanced protection training, this suit folds nicely, weighs less, and eliminates bulk. This also means you’ll take a beating but have realistic response times and gears you to work the dog vs. the dog working the suit.

Better decoy security

We’ve built in stainless steel ClicLock Herm Sprenger buckles that can be easily fastened with one hand. The buckle clips securely so the decoy knows the suit won’t slip if he’s doing all outs, working younger dogs that want to tear him out of the suit, or adds security if he’s working 10-15 dogs in a row. The buckle unlocks just as easily to switch out trainers or clock out for the day.

The mobility of a tactical jacket

Out of the box this suit comes with great mobility. It has a unique vest and sleeve design, meant to mirror a tactical jacket, but with more room. As opposed to a single piece front suit, the vest and sleeve is tailored through the armpit and shoulder so the decoy can move the dog where he should be. And with a light padding structure, your body is right there in the suit so your dog is operating as if you’re in a regular piece of clothing. There’s no halfway bites into trapezoid area depending on where the dog’s grip is through the armpit across the chest, and the vest creates a natural pocket in the back for a wide biting surface.
