It’s no surprise that there are tons of different pieces of dog gear that a professional K9 handler needs to have readily available when they’re on duty with their working dog. In fact, there’s so much gear that finding a place to keep it all can be tricky.

Luckily for every dog handler who’s ever struggled to find a place to keep their gear, we developed the Ray Allen Dog Collar Pouch.

Easy Access to Your Essential Dog Gear

The standard solution for holding equipment that won’t fit inside the pockets of a pair of tactical pants is keeping everything in a backpack. Unfortunately, items kept in a backpack aren’t always easily accessible, and fumbling around to find vital equipment in the field is a recipe for disaster.

As you can probably tell by the name, our Dog Collar Pouch attaches to your dog’s collar, so accessing your gear is as easy as bending down and unzipping the pouch. Additionally, the hook-and-loop VELCRO® on the rear side of the pouch and two stitched-in loops ensure the piece won’t slip or slide around while your dog is working in the field.

The pouch is made of 500 denier Cordura with a #8 zipper for durability and measures 6" long and 3" tall with a 1 1/2" depth to hold almost anything you can imagine.

From an extra leash and a muzzle to a collapsible dog bowl, we’ve seen K9 handlers store a wide variety of essential dog gear inside the pouch. It’s also great for holding a wallet and car keys if you don’t want those bulky items weighing down your pants.

Compatibility Many Ray Allen Products

Our pouch was initially designed for use with the Ray Allen Nylon Service ID Collar or other Ray Allen collars featuring VELCRO® for ID panels. But it’s compatible with essentially any collar you can find in our store.

Thanks to the two loops on the back of the piece, the pouch slides onto leather collars with ease. While it won’t stay in place if there’s no VELCRO® on the collar, the heavy-duty, stitched-in loops are guaranteed to keep the pouch nice and secure when you’re in the field.

Although it’s called the Collar Pouch and meant to be worn around the neck, this piece is the ideal harness accessory. Simply slide the pouch on the harness and head out to work.
