In 2023 we came out with the Dog Trainer Fanny Pack reimagining the common fanny pack to be a feature loaded "tool belt" specifically for dog people, by dog people. With the wild success of the DTFP came some great feedback from rigorous field testing by thousands of trainers and handlers around the globe. With the XL version, not only did we take some of those suggestions and improve upon them, we blew them out of the water!

The Dog Trainer Fanny Pack XL is roughly 2” bigger and 1.5” deeper than the original. With a new modular design, you can set it up for any activity with a few quick adjustments or combined with our new Chest Rig H Strap and Ball & Bait Pouch specifically designed for the DTFP-XL.

The design of the Dog Trainer Fanny Pack XL was taken from the OG version and inspired by elements from plate carrier companies and chest rig companies to create the ultimate rig for the dog trainers and handles out there. This extra-large tactical fanny pack measures 9.5" wide, 7" tall, and 3" deep and features a total of two zippered pockets; a large main pocket closest to you, and a smaller one in front. 

Inside the main zipper compartment, you'll find approximiately 9"x4" of loop VELCRO® to attach anything you want like EDC pouches (everyday carry) and ample space for your CCW. Additionally, you'll find an inner hidden pocket for cash, your passport, or other personal documents. It can even hold essential med supplies, for when you're out on a hike.

The easy access treat pouch between the two zipper compartments features pack cloth for convenient cleaning. We removed the tug sleeve from the front of the original design, making it easier to carry even more training treats! Need even more treat storage? Check out are new Ball & Bait Pouch that easily attaches to the DTFP-XL. Carry even more training rewards or balls for your loyal partner.

The front zipper pocket is sized to store your phone, keys, poop bags, and more. Quick access pockets are open on each side of the zipper so if you have a tab leash you can easily store it and grab it at a moment’s notice.

Quickly accessible PALS webbing on the wings feature two MOLLE compatible slots per side, perfect for your e-collar handheld, bite breaker bar, tactical light, and more. If you want to run it as a chest rig, don’t worry, you can easily take off the wings and your e-collar remote or other tools can slide into the MOLLE on the Chest Rig H Strap instead.

Display your favorite patches on the 9"x4" loop VELCRO® on the very front, or store alternative service patches conveniently to throw on your dog.
