The First In Canine Attic Deployment (CAD) System is a US Patent Pending K9 tactical solution designed to safely breach an attic or high ground / hard to reach environment within a building, without exposing you (the handler) to any potential dangers. First In created the system around it's featured CLAW component. The CLAW device is the attachment point of the whole system, and will grab ahold of any 2” factory or rough cut piece of lumber, found in most home attics, lofts, or haymow of a barn. Being a tactical tool, it was developed with strategically positioned holes to attach things such as cameras, lights, or any other tech the K9 handler may need for the operation.

To use the system, a handler simply attaches the Canine Attic Deployment device to a lifting ring on the dog’s harness (developed on the Insertion Harness). Using a telescoping pole (sold seperately), the CLAW is raised to grab ahold of a wooden rafter in the building's joist system. The K9 is then lifted up to the attic or loft landing, using the pulley setup. Once the dog is in a position to deploy, a release line is pulled, freeing him from the Canine Attic Deployment (CAD) system, allowing him to search and/or apprehend a suspect. The handler does this from the ground, at a safe distance, protected from the exposure of entering an attic blindly.

The handler can then safely breach the attic and assist with the search and apprehension of any suspect. Once the dog has finished working, the handler can use the CAD system to gently rappel the dog back to the ground.

NOTE: Telescoping stick / pole is necessary for CLAW to reach attic beams (sold separately).

DO NOT PULL THE RELEASE LINE AT ANY TIME DURING THE LIFTING PROCESS AS THIS MAY CAUSE THE DOG TO FALL.
