Covert Series Headgear | K9 Head Protection | Working Dog PPE

Specifically made for dogs who engage in dangerous work, the CS1-A2 GoggleHelm from K9 Helm offers lightweight flexibility and excellent ventilation. Features include wrap-around eye protection, 6061 aluminum side mounting plates for detachable muzzles, a low-profile removable picatinny rail, and a Biothane retention collar as a primary means for securing when deployed. Complete the GoggleHelm with ear covers and clear replacement lens, sold separately.

New for 2025, the CS1-A2 is made of injection molded polycarbonate, which is over 25 times more impact resistant than the previous, 3D printed model. Variant A2 meets or exceeds US military specifications for ballistic safety eyewear. Compliance to: MIL-PRF-31013 and MIL-V-43511C
Test Projectile: Chisel point, 0.15 Caliber. Like the original CS-1, the A2 is ideal for military and police canines. Features include wrap-around eye protection, 6061 aluminum side mounting plates for detachable muzzles, a low-profile removable picatinny rail, and an internally routed Biothane collar for secure retention.

Fits 38-47cm necks best and W3 to W4 head widths. Reference the sizing templates here.

Note: Please note that the GoggleHelm only fits average size Belgian Malinois and some Dutch German Shepherd dogs, will not fit other breeds.

K9 Helm CS1-A2 GoggleHelm product does not include ear cover components. The K9 Helm CS1-A2 Ear Covers are sold seperately. We also carry Clear Replacement Lenses for the CS-1 helmet.

The K9 Helm Lo-Pro Ears 2.0 (designed for Trident models) DO NOT fit the CS1-A2 GoggleHelm product.

Sizing:

For those familiar with the Trident TR-1 Gen2 helmet, the CS-1 GoggleHelm is very similar to the "regular fit" Trident. As a rule of thumb, the average size Belgian Malinois head is an ideal host. Referencing K9 Helm's head measuring templates:

L1 and L2 head lengths fit best. L3 can work provided the neck size is not maxed out
W2, W3, and W4 head widths will fit, but W1 is not recommended
S1, S2, and S3 snout sizes will fit
Biothane collar accommodates neck sizes from 14.5" - 18.5"
